The “everyday” trend is the kind of internet thing that suckers like me are especially vulnerable to.
The task is simple: upload 1 of “that cool thing you do”
every 👏 single 👏 day.
If you do, you'll get good at it.
In past projects, I've done 66 days.
And I wanted to do it with ATOMIC STORIES, too. I created an intricate schedule to do so.
Unsurprisingly. That did not happen.
Here are the three riders of the apocalypse of the everyday world:
Hey, Matias. So how did they try to ruin your wedding?
I thought you'd never ask:
I had read that many times before. It comes in different sizes and flavors.
This idea of “non-negotiable” everyday creation is so damn appealing, so much so that I caught myself feeling microscopically bummed out because I couldn't post on my wedding week.
Say
that
again
please?
I caught myself feeling microscopically bummed out because I couldn't post on my wedding week. The most goddamn perfect week where I spent quality time with my now wife, mother, and best friend.
Yes, she's multitasking.
Just kidding. Those are 3 different people.
Or are they? 👶
They are, I promise.
The point is: f*ck that. I cannot do everydays for now.
The best I can do is 3 times a week, which is still a pretty good deal considering that this repository of wisdom comes to you at the price of one million nadas.
The flavors are:
🧐 A for ACCURATE: Factual & educational.
👉 B for BOLD: “Look! Someone blew my mind with this"
🫀 C for CANDID: “This is embarrassing, but hear me out”
3 times a week. Until the end of time. Boy Scout promise.
